Advice on keeping food made with formula please!

DS is on Nutramigen at the mo and I make him porridge/weetabix with it but he doesn't always eat all of it. Can I store it in the fridge and offer it later on?

Can I make anything else with formula like cheese sauce/rice pudding/custard? If so, how long can I keep it cos I'd be making half a pint-ish and he wouldn't eat all that in one go.
TIA

I wouldn't, make smaller portions fresh every time.

I wouldn't keep partially eaten food either either, like Chulita says, couldn't you just make smaller portions instead.

I do make smaller portions but with porridge it's a bit irritating to make a 1/4 cup, have him hungry and make another 1/4 cupful but sod's law if I make 1/2 cup he won't eat it. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing on that front then.

More interesting is the second part about making other foods with formula, I thought I read something about being able to but I can't find it and I don't want to make him anything with it if I'm not supposed to.

Should think that you would be able to make other things with formula but not sure again about keeping the food, should think that if you follow the usual guidelines on keeping formula you will be ok.

We used cows milk for cooking from 6 months but presume that as your DS is on Nutramigen this wouldn't be an option for you. Do you see a dietician about his allergy? If so can they give you any information on weaning and what to use?
