i love baking and i woul dlove to be good at cake decorating but i just cant seem to find the right icing to do the decorating with using an icing gun. can anyone help me with a simple recipe for i live on a farm an hours drive form the nearest town and i cant just get everything i need at the moment of inspiration hehe...please help

Hi, if you're looking to do more elaborate piping, you really need Royal Icing. You can buy ready to mix royal icing (think you just add water) made by Silver Spoon, but I prefer making it on my own:
500g Icing Sugar
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Glycerine (optional)
Beat egg whites till frothy, add half the icing and mix with a wooden spoon. Add glycerine and lemon juice, then mix in remaining icing. brilliant for professional finish.
