20 month old DD isn't eating any of her lunch at CM's house. It's only two days a week, so she's not starving or anything, but wondered if anyone had new ideas for what else to try. Currently rejecting: sandwiches, bread, savoury or fruit 'healthy' muffins, mini quiches, cheese, ham, vegetable bites/ rissoles, most fruit, pasta, noodles. These are all things she's happily eaten before or still eats at home. She usually eats a couple of oatcakes with cream cheese. She has tea there once a week but rarely eats that either. Very happy at CM, who is brilliant.

Any ideas for other picnic style food to offer? It's sad having to empty out an untouched lunchbox every time!

Pitta pockets with her favourite filling in, mini pizza, meatballs and pasta.
Is she eating a lot of breakfast before she goes?

A couple of oatcakes with cream cheese, plus milk and a snack at another time is enough for a toddler, isn't it?

Thanks, yes I suppose it is! She used to eat so much more, but is very 'sturdy' so I'm sure I've no need to worry! She usually eats breakfast there and does have quite a bit. I'll stop thinking about it so much.

Yep - am sure it's a phase. Don't pander to it, keep offering a variety of stuff (all the above sounds great) and she'll soon come out of it :)

I'd be tempted to keep it simple, does she like things like bread sticks/rice cakes/unsalted crisps (occasionally) etc?
Maybe offer something like a couple of the above, or oat cakes, plus some soft cheese, or hoummus in a little and a couple of carrot sticks/cucumber.
My DD would be quite happy with that.
