so i forgot to take chicken casserole puree out of freezer last night. It is in a tupperware bowl because ds eats quite a lot. Nothing for supper tonight unless i heat it up from frozen. Well, except toast and fruit, he doesn't like much else [except for lamb casserole and i haven't got any lamb at mo.] Is it safe to heat up from frozen if i cook it for a few minutes? Or should i leave it till it thaws properly? Sorry!

you can defrost in a micro - I wouldn't heat up directly. Or you can put the bowl in some cold water which will speed up defrosting.

Can't you defrost in microwave?

don't have a microwave! Might try the water - maybe i shouldn't risk it...

i went and bought him some salmon and made him fish pie which he promptly spat out, every last mouthful. Ah well!
