Today - veggie and paneer curry with rice, dips, samosas;
Tomorrow - the remains of the curry and dips with homemade wedges;
Tuesday - cheese and leek flan and steamed vege or salad;
Weds - dd2 is cooking at school: perhaps wraps with veggie chilli in them, rolled up into a baking dish and topped with cheese then baked (is that enchiladas?);
Thursday - don't know - perhaps homemade pizzas or a risotto;
Friday - I think I will require taking out for dinner by Friday!

Happy birthday! How do you do your peanut sauce please?

Ooh, you're all having lots of lovely curry. My mum's here for a week to help out as husband away, and she won't eat spicy food. Boo.

Mon: Mushroom risotto
Tues: Chickpeas and chard (River cafe recipe, but we just got given a load of spinach from a friend's garden, so I'll use that)
Weds: Salad Nicoise
Thurs: Grilled Salmon and noodles. Or maybe just veg noodles.
Fri: Veggie Spag Bol
Sat: Burritos (using spag bol sauce + beans)
Sunday: I'm hoping I'll get a takeaway. Depends how much takeout husband ate whilst away.

Happy Birthday BT.

Mon - spicy sweet & sour pork with pineapple & green pepper, noodles
Tues - low fat version of fish & chips with "mushy peas"
Weds - quick prawn korma, with rice and whatever green veg appears in my box oo-er.

I'll do the rest of the week once I've checked my box on Weds evening (oo-er again - must stop doing that).

mon: chicken roast dinner from sunday 2nd serving - works brilliantly
Tues: foil baked salmon with lentils
Wed: Spag bol or lasagne
Thurs: unsure yet.
Fri: Fish & chips (baked pollock and less fatty chips) mushy peas
Sat: Chicken pie (homemade using thighs - prob bought pastry) & new spuds
Sun: lamb or beef roast

Being very careful now to keep food costs as low as possible.
