Can I freeze coconut milk?

About to open a large can (it's all I have) but I only really need half.

Will the other half freeze successfully? Normal milk does, I know, but not tried coconut milk before.

Yep, it might separate into cream and water but it combines jut fine when you heat it again

If you are a curry fan, freeze it in small quantities (ice cube tray) then you can just add a little to calm down a hot curry, without having to defrost the whole lot
