Out of date?

This keeps happening to me when I do shopping from a certain place.
A pack of mince, not due to go out of date until tomorrow suddenly turning a pale brown colour.
Last time I took the meat back, but can't this time. My mum seems to think the meat should be ok.
Any opinions?

If it smells ok to me then I use it. If it doesn't err on the side of caution. I don't pay a huge amount of attention to dates tbh and rely on my nose. Not been ill yet, so figure I'm doing something right!

It's normal for meat to change colour when it's packed in plactic. Take it out, rinse it, leave it for a few minutes and then sniff.

mince often changes colour. it doesnt mean it is off /unuseable.

smell it when you open it, if it is off you will know immediately
