fish sauce

Is there anyhting i can use instead in a thai curry Nearly finished and just said add fish sauce at the end for flavour!Shops too far now and its too cold

soy would be better than nothing???

NOTES
Nam Pla is available in asian markets or some supermarkets.
Substitute soy sauce if you cannot find it. Do not add salt;
the Nam Pla is salty enough.
