Fairy Cakes - only have plain flour, is this ok????

Anyone got a recipe using plain flour???

I do have some baking powder though should I put a tsp of this in?

My baking powder says 3 level tsps to 8oz plain flour.

oh...Ive used an anabel karmel recipe and put in 1tsp have come out ok bit hard but not too bad!
