Help! Egg-free cake recipe please!

I need to make an egg-free cake for a child coming to my son's birthday party - has anyone got an easy and fool-proof recipe for me?

EGGLESS CHOC CAKE (v.v.simple)

Grease & line 2 8" Sandwich tins

Whisk together in jug: 8fluid oz milk, 4 fl oz oil, 1 tsp vinegar, .5tsp vanilla essence.

Sieve together: 8oz plain flour, 8oz castor sugar, 2oz cocoa, .25 tsp Bicarb Soda, 1 level tsp Baking Powder, .25 tsp salt.

Stir liquid ingredients into dry. Beat well with wooden spoon to a smooth slack. Pour into tins. Bake at 190 Degrees C /Gas 5 for approx 25 mins. Fill with buttercream, top with choc icing.

There are a lot of unbaked cheesecake recipes that have no egg in them ...

Milliways just wanted to say thanks for the egg free chocolate cake recipe, Ive just made this for my daughter, gave it to her and she loved it. However I then realised I bought royal icing sugar and made the butter cream and icing out of this. Then after I had given it to her I realised it contains egg white so have luckily and inadvertantly discovered my daughter is no longer allergic to egg white!!
