what exactly are ocean pinks?

had a seafood tray from the seafood stand at the coast today - it had cockles, mussels, a crab stick and an ocean pink... it tasted a bit 'plasticcy' googled but nawt comes up...

I think, but I'm not certain, that they are reformed bits of prawn. Not IMO seafood! About as seafoody as crab sticks are - they are generally reconstituted white fish packed full of flavourings and dyes!

Like crabsticks but they call them 'Prawnies' or they used to.
