Im so excited I can hardly contain myself ( I know Im a sad puppy ).I just found a local slaughter house ( didnt know you got such things around here) that will sell me 1/2 a pig, minimum 100 LBs, cut any way I want for $175.Thats fresh locally grown happy pig too.I can also get 1/3 of a cow,about 65 Lbs for $235
Ill be able to make proper bacon, wooohooo, cant get the right cut here. Im so excited,did I say that already?

My goodness. You must have either an army to feed, or a freezer the size of Jupiter to fit 165lbs of meat!

The last time I got one of the Riverford meatboxes (which is only 6kg) it pretty much filled up our entire freezer.

Sounds great! My parents have always had a big chest freezer so when my sister and I were hungry teens (and tehy had rather more money than now) they used to get half lambs and cows all chopped up for the freezer, it was amazing.

I got half a lamb a little while ago, and that took up less than a shelf in the freezer. Wish I could source half a pig or a third of a cow like that. Enjoy!!
