onions
tinned toms
herbs
oh and meat of course

tin of tomatoes
tomato puree
some onions
some garlic (and/or garlic puree)
italian seasoning (either one mixed together, or italian herbs)
a splash of worcester sauce adds a bit of a kick, as does wine.

Brown mince. Chuck the rest in the pan together. Stir. Put in lasagne dish.

Porbably not the most full of flavour version, but easy.

Chop and fry an onion and two cloves of garlic until softened

Add mince and brown it

Add tomato puree and cook for about a minute

Add tin of chopped tomatoes (or break up plum tomatoes)

Add wine, mixed herbs, bay leaf, pepper

Cook for as long as possible, preferably at least an hour.

Then make a bechamel sauce. Melt 1oz of butter, stir in 1oz of flour and let it cook for about a minute. Add 3/4 pint of milk. Bring to boil. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add pepper and nutmeg.

Put a layer of lasagne sheets on bottom of dish (cook if necessary - I use the no cooking needed variety). Layer with meat sauce and bechamel sauce, finishing with bechamel sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan.

Cook at 180 for about 30-25 mins.
