Chicken curry left out overnight - can I still freeze it?

DH came home late last night and asked me to leave out his portion of our chicken, chickpea, mushroom curry that I cooked last night so he could eat when he got in. Well he didn't get in till 1am and didn't eat it. Found it still on the kitchen counter this morning. Can it be frozen and reheated another day, or will I just have to chuck it?

I've got no idea if it's the right thing to do, but I would. Making sure I used it very quickly when I defrost it!

I would.

I often do this, leave stuff in pots overnight then freeze the next day , i'm still here to tell the tale

Do it many a time - always been ok!

Before you freeze it, re-heat it - and make sure it is really piping hot all the way through. Then put into the freezer.

This will make sure that the bacteria that have been developing are zapped now. If you put it into the freezer now, all you will be doing is stopping the bacteria from growing - you won't kill them.

I would, many others would not.

I'd just freeze it then reheat thoroughly
