Meatball recipes!

Have bought a pack of fresh meatballs from Asda, froze them on day of purchase, so all OK there.

Any ideas what I can do with them, for DC's?

The quickest and easiest is to make a simple tomato sauce. Chop and fry an onion, once is soft and golden add a tin of tomatoes (plain, chopped with herbs whatever you fancy) and then simmer it until it gets thick and rich. season it and away you go... The best way is to fry the meatballs to brown them (I assume they're raw, if not you can skip this step) and then sling them into the tomato sauce. SServe them with rice or pasta or mash.. whatever the DC's like...

You could chop some gherkins and add a teaspoon or 2 of red wine vinegar into the tomato sauce for a sweet and sour tang.

I like them served with rice or noodles.
