It is the holidays here so I let the dcs do the meal plan for the last week.
We have eaten:
Monday: Sausage, egg, beans and chips Shock
Tuesday: Ginger tofu stir fry and noodles
Wednesday: Spaghetti Bolognaise
Thursday: Pasta and pesto

The dcs have loved it but I have noted they haven't eaten any more than when I choose the meals. Grin

Weds: Husband away, so boys will have pizza when they get home from holiday club (they'll be tired, it's quick, and there's one left from Monday. Will I go to hell?) and I'll have salad later
Thurs: I'm away with a girlfriend and 5 children. God only knows what they'll eat. We'll be on the wine.
Fri: Student slop (vegetable chilli type stuff with rice. It doesn't actually contain students)
Saturday: Chicken and cous cous for 13 (Leon recipe massively increased)
Sunday: whole poached salmon, new pots and salad, meringues and rhubarb for 25 (DS3's non-Christening party)

Yum.

AngelDog · 20/04/2011 14:10

It's great to get some inspiration.

I'm surprised how many people cook something different every night. I don't find it's worth cooking unless we're going to eat it for 2 meals as cooking things takes me such a looooong time (and my 15 m.o. gets grumpy if I have to spend too long ignoring him in the kitchen).

Collision · 20/04/2011 14:12

Chicken Stirfry with noodles and prawn crackers

HM burgers with chips and salad

Prezzo on Friday
