Is Jamies 30 minute chicken pie any good?

Am making it tonight for some friends that are coming over but looking at the recipe now it looks like it might be quite bland tasting? Bought all the bloody ingredients now so can't change my mind. Did people enjoy it or should I add more flavours to it?

i liked it. I suppose u cd add more herbs to it, that wd be a nice touch i eckon. My advice is not to make the carrot smash and peas tho, they werent v nice at all.

I add more mustard to mine which I think gives it more of a nice taste, I like the carrot and peas though.

Yes, it's lovely. And I loved the peas! Carrots were also nice but I left too much water in mine.

Yes we love it too. I've also done it with tarragon instead of thyme which was yum.

It is delicious, the peas and lettuce were lovely too.
