Do cakes freeze ok?

Ds' birthday on Weds, would like to make some cupcakes on Monday and the cake on Tuesday. Should I freeze the cupcakes?

oh yes, def. They will be fine. Obviously don't ice them though.

You could bake the cupcakes today and be super ahead of yourself.
