No arguing over the wishbone! You can order from M&S and sounds fab if you like turkey. You will also miss out on the "what to do with cold turkey in february" which is almost like missing out on Christmas! Go for it - be a devil.

Doesn't create quite the same impression on the dining table though, does it ? Never tasted one but I don't think I'd bother, it's all a bit Bernard Matthews for me.

First one is Ready stuffed too. A complete bargain.

Don't waitrose.com/entertaining do an equivalent.? Their chestnut stuffing is yum too. Decisions, decisions. We're having roast pork as its just us 4, and dh hates turkey.

Gosh cod - so glad your link was to M & S, I imagined from the thread title it was Bernard Matthews, Bleugh Yuk

Thanks for the reminder. Tried an organic one of these last year at our local farmers market. It was GORGEOUS but left it too late to order one. Will get order in soonest!! There's just three of us this year, DS2 does not do turkey, so will be more than enough. Going away for New Year we think so could do without the endless leftovers.

cod, I have just got the M&S Xmas food order brochure through the post (you can get it in store).

We had the butter basted breast 2 yrs ago from them and it was absolutely delicious - so succulent, it was like melt in the mouth mmmm. Last year, we had a whole turkey and it honestly felt like we had more decent' meat the year before.
