The Hummingbird Bakery book is lovely. Enjoy your cupcakes.

This is the best book I've found for cupcakes.

adelaidegirl · 27/03/2011 17:11

I agree- the Hummingbird bakery book is a winner

turnitup · 28/03/2011 21:02

I just bought this

Its the BEST for cupcakes (and I have the hummingbird too)

I don't agree with Hummingbird, so many don't work. Very heavy mixtures. They've had to correct alot of their recipes too on their publishers website.

I agree with turnitup, the Love Bakery book is great, as is the Marks and Spencer Cupcake book.

For inspiration and great ideas, the Martha Stewart one is brilliant, you just need cup measurers as it's american.

I would agree the hummingbird one is not up to much, I think they have struggled to size down their recipes.

I love "Bake me, I'm yours" even better, you can buy it with two other books, one on chocolate and one on cookies.

not quite just cupcakes, but my bargain book I am loving at the moment and making loads out of, is Sainsburys £5 hardback just called Baking. It's brilliant.
