Anyone got a recipe for a madeira cake that will be large enough to feed my huge family? I went to order one from a cake shop for my dd 1st birthday party but they don't look very special. I decided to make one instead. I like the cakes from M&S, I am sure it is a madeira cake but the only recipes I can find are for really small cakes. Is it ok just to multiply the quantities in the recipe. If so how do you know how long to cook it for?
