The Wild Garlic, Beaminster (Mat Follas) - anyone been there?

Have booked for lunch for DH's birthday in June.

TripAdvisor (fwiw - see other thread) has mixed reviews - some excellent and some totalling slating it.

Anyone eatne there? If so, what did YOU think??

Damn it should have previewed.

My inlaws have eaten there and really enjoyed it. Have walked passed it and it looks more cafe than restaurant though haven't been inside.

I went to Mark Hixx fish and oyster bar at Lyme which was good and it would be lovely to sit in the front window.

Sienna in Dorchester does great food but it is tiny and lacks atmosphere. Has a Michelin star.
