Red pepper tart

If I was gonna make a tart with puff pastry, marscapone, pesto and red peppers, do you think I should roast the peppers first or will it be ok just to slice them and lay them over the cheese and pesto on the tart and bake the lot at once? Hope that makes sense!

I'd roast them first - the flavour will be more intense. Sounds tasty!

Just ate it for supper and It. Was. Gorgeous. Grin Did the pepper on the gas stove as I'd never done it before and fancied a try - worked perfectly and really was very delicious! Thanks for the tip.
