Slightly concerned about the safety of food products from Japan, would imagine some food stuffs are affected by the radiation such as soy sauce & tuna fish. Anyone else worried?

Not in the slightest. Anything you'll be eating now will have been produced a long time ago (relatively).
I thought this would be about mercury and I am almost sure that the majority of tinned tuna is from Thailand.

I realise that food one is eating now is ok but I was thinking more of the future say 6 months time.

No - there is no issue at all with safety of food from Japan. This level of panic is getting ridiculous. I have lots of friends in Japan and am still planning to visit next month, btw. And yes, I will be eating while I am there.

Radiation levels are currently raised in a small area very close to the reactors, but I can't imagine there would be any food being produced with 20km of the reactors in the aftermath of the tsunami and earthquake anyway.

And what Kreecher said about anything Japanese here having been shipped well before the earthquake etc anyway.
