Canape / nibbles ideas please

Going to a neighbour's house this weekend for drinks and canapes. Apparently we are welcome to bring a plate of canapes if we want - but I'm stuck for ideas. I wanted to do mini Thai crab cakes but these are only good hot and just out of the pan ... all I can think of apart from that are mini cheese scones.

Is anyone more inspired than me?

blob of sour cream
bit of salmon
little piece of lemon fillet
caper or two
teeny tiny squares of red onion
black pepper

grilled chilli and mozzarella with basil on a little bruschetta is my fave

DH upended a tub of hummus onto a plate and sprinled paprika on it, then cut tortilla wraps triangles. Looked good, tasted good and very easy.

I have no imagination.
