out of date pancetta?

I've got a pack of pancetta which has an expiry date of 3 March but want to use it in tonight's soup. Would you? It's cured, which makes me think it would be OK. DH (who is normally really picky) seems happy enough, but colleagues are a bit .
What do you think?

Yep I would as long as its been stored correctly and has no 'odd' smell when you open the pack up. Just don't tell your DH.
