I will have sausages left from the kids teas and plan to use them for toad in the hole for DH and me to have later. Do I just cook the batter for 20-25 minutes with the sausages rather than the usual cooking of the sausages in hot oil for 15 minutes first? I will heat oil first as normal. And has anyone got a fail safe recipe for the pudding bit please?
