I'm taking my mum for dinner here at thend end of April as it's not that local to us I was going to make a day of it and go to Kew Gardens first and then on for dinner.

I was just wondering what people tend to wear. Do you think it would be ok, if we wore summer dresses round kew (weather permitting) with flats and then changed into heels in the evening.

Thanks

I haven't been there for quite a few years, but I don't remember it being particularly smart dress-wise. So I think you will be fine with what you suggest - although summer dresses might be a bit chilly in Kew Gardens at the end of april!

It isn't uber posh in terms of dress. I probably wore a nice smart/casual dress. In fact I think I went when carrying a lot of baby weight so wore a purple jersey dress and Mary Jane's. I went on a week night and there were lots of people straight from work. If it is cold then trousers and a nice top would be perfect!

That's great, thanks. Smile
