i have just cooked a chicken which was supposed to be "without giblets" only to find when i've taken it out of the oven that it does indeed have some giblets inside. Will still be ok? the juices coming of it are quite dark but it is thoroughly cooked. Advice please?

If it's reached a high enough temperature in the centre - do you have a food thermometer? - it should be OK. Were the giblets in a plastic bag?

Do you mean the juices are bloody? Because if they are I'd be careful.

Can you take the giblets out and shove the chicken in again for another half hour or so?

If you cover the chicken with foil, apart from the cavity, it should stop the chicken burning or over cooking on top.

juices aren't bloody just dark. think it'saybe just the liver in there. not in plastic. it'/s def cooked through because i've taken all meat off carcas now. think it's ok?
