What I mean is not too full of sugar!
What is your favourite recipe for your family?
I have a few really ripe bananas that I need to use.
Thank you!

This banana bread is lovely. I have got the american cup measures though. If you haven't you can google what the weights are. General purpose flour is self-raising. Just adjust the amount of sugar to what you are happy with.

Here you go, a conversion chart from good old Delia

Thank you! I have the measuring cups so it should be easy. I don't have the vanilla though, will it still taste nice if I leave it out do you think?
Oh, and is that a 2lb loaf tin or a 1lb loaf tin?

I think I used 2lb but it gives the measurement of the tin in the recipe so see how it compares to the tins that you have. Guess will be fine without the vanilla although it does add a nice touch. It is really moist, kids loved it as well. There are some devine recipes on that web site. The shop is wonderful as well. Was always a first stop for us when we went to the States. How sad am I Smile
