help! it is dd's birthday tomorrow and i need to bake a cake. normally my mum makes them for everyone but she is away!!

nigella's how to eat fairycake recipe is pretty foolproof (all in the food processor) but her cake recipe is confusing

i have 2 x 20cm (4cm deep) round tins with removable bases, 1 x 22cm round tin 5.5cm deep or 1 x 23cm square tin (4cm deep)

THANKS!

page 28 of How to Eat has a recipe for chocolate birthday cake - requires a 20 cm tin, so I'd do that recipe split between your 2 x 20cm's to sandwhich together easily.

If you really want to use the food processor recipe - I'd go with 1 x fairy cake recipe batch to each 20 cm tin as its only a 125g flour recipe.

hope this helps

Good luck!
