I've just put a loaf in now but realised I wont be here when it finishes in 3 hours time - does that matter? I wont be back until about 90 minutes after it has finished.

TIA

Wouldn't matter in the one we have got. It would keep beeping to let you know it had finished, but just on and off, and it would gradually cool down.

I have left mine all night. No harm done. Only thing is they get a bit of condensation forming as they get cold. That will not happen after 90 mins tough.

I suggest that as soon as you get home you whip open the lid, hoik it out, hack off a massive crusty warm slice, spread with jam and butter - enjoy! Smile

thanks guys. I've borrowed a bread maker from my friend while she's on holiday, to see how much we'd use one before buying our own. I daren't buy one now though - I'd put on 2 stone in about a month. This fresh bread malarky is delicious Grin
