will silverside roast ok in a roasting back ?

Bought a huge piece of silverside to roast, don't eat meat myself so didn't realise it is not ideal for roasting. If I slather it in olive oil and roast as per instructions in a roasting bag will it be ok ?

It is best if it is braised slowly for a couple of hours.
