Help - scales broken

Pleeeeease.

Have just dropped my scales and broken them. I need to guess at the volume of SR
Flour.

I need to use 8oz/225g in a recipe.

How many standard size mugs do you think that would be? Or anything else I could use to use the correct amount?

Please help!!

Do you have a US cup measure? It should be quite easy to google to convert.

Or even a measuring jug. Google how much that is in ml. May have to convert to cups then to ml IYSWIM

I usually work on a couple of heaped tablespoons of flour being an ounce. I am a very vague recipe follower though.
