I'm looking for inspiration on how best to get through the kiwi fruit that come with my organic veg box more often than I'd like.

I don't particularly like or dislike them and keep forgetting to eat them. Unlike forgotten apples and pears you can't bake them or make a pie.

Anyone know any good ways to get them eaten?

Puree. Mix with vodka. Mmmmmm.

Or on a (slightly) more useful note, mash and freeze and use for smoothies/lollies in the summer.

Oh yes. Thanks Serendippy

Kiwis are a natural tenderiser so they're good slipped onto skewers with meat for kebabs either under the grill or over the barbecue. Good in smoothies with a banana. Make a nice sorbet as well.

I personally would avoid them like the plague because I'm allergic! But for non food use, get a copy of James Wong's Grow Your Own Drugs and make a kiwi face mask with them. You could probably freeze it too!!
