weight of joint help needed

hi im cooking a joint of meat for 6 adults and 2 kids.

I am going to order online but without seeing the meat infront of me i have no idea what size/weight i should order.

was thinking of pork or leg of lamb..

Something in the region of 5-6lbs raw would be a nice size to carve after cooking, give everyone a few slices each and probably a little left over.

so do you think aleg of lamb that weighs 2kg will be enough? thanks

There's a lot of bone in a leg of lamb and the carving can be tricky... if it's a generous 2kgs - 2.5kgs it should be OK
