Made these last night for the first time. They are so yummy! We had them with baked spuds.
2tbsp brown sugar
125ml treacle
1tsp mustard
1tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tins haricot beans(drain&keep liquid)
120g chopped streaky bacon
1/2 chopped onion
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Bay leaf
Salt&p
Put everything in casserole dish with 1/2 pint reserved bean liquid.
Stir and cover, cook for 1 hour.
If looks like drying out add more bean liquid.
