So. Wholemeal pasta. Edible or yuk?

I love pasta... Too much.

I remember having Wholemeal pasta once, it was horrible. But then I was a kid and much less open to healthy changes in diet!

Can it ever be nice? Disguised in lots of sauce? Worth a try?

I prefer wholemeal. It actually tastes of something.

It does take longer to cook though.

I only buy wholemeal, and have done since the DC were born. I don't think the family have even noticed that it's not the "normal" stuff Grin

I use wholemeal pasta. I made the mistake of telling DH once and he said it was horrible. I now don't tell him and he always say it's lovely :o

I prefer wholemeal, dh can't stand it so I have to cleverly disguise it if we have it.
the dc don't mind either way, as long as they are getting pasta...

wholemeal much nicer , we always have it

I like it, but have to specifically fancy it. If I really fancy pasta and then get wholemeal I feel a bit cheated. I doesn't have that gratifying resistance and slipperyness of white pasta. It's either firm and bumpy or just mush.
