Quorn products

Does anyone know at what age it is suitable to give Quorn (and/or similar veggie products) to young children? DD1 (nearly 3) eats Quorn no problem, but dd2 is only 8 months and I was wondering what age would be OK to start trying her on it?

There's another thread about Quorn way down the list for Food threads. The manufacturers don't reccommend it to under 2's as it's fairly hard to digest, apparently. I must admit, I've given dd quorn and soya mince since she was 1, but not every day. Soya mince is quite salty so needs to be used sparingly. I pad my bolognaise sauces for dd out with lentils sometimes.
