about 250g of plain flour, 6/7g yeast, a little oil, a pinch of salt and water (not sure how much as i guess) kneed it and then cover it and leave it to rise (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. i then mix a little tomato paste with mixed herbs, spread it on my rolled out dough, add mozzerrella and my toppings, cover in cheddar cheese and sprinkle on dried oregano. bake in the oven (for approx 20 mins)

this makes a large pizza and then i serve with homemade potato wedges and salad

thanks countydurhamlass is that dried yeast, as in the powder stuff i used to pop in my breadmaker before it became the household dust collector

I chuck a normal white loaf recipe in the breadmaker and press 'Dough'

Then when it comes out, roll it very very thinly and then cook for c.5 mins. Then take out and put on your sauce & toppings

you can use dried or fresh....you need twice as much fresh as dried.

but because pizza dough doesn't need to rise so much once it's made you can just roll it out, and put the toppings on

If you like a deeper crust let it sit a while before you put it in the oven, otherwise shove it in for a thin and crispy.

if your yeast is collecting dust then I doubt it is any good - it needs to be kept in the fridge in the packets.

I use 11 oz of flour
170ml of water half of yeast and a little oil and a pinch of slat.

i do mine in the bread maker as itmakes life easy

i roll out and don't bake first - slop passatt over, then cheddar, some mozz balls, tiny balls in a tube - just use four or five and soem parmesian and a little mixed herbs.

bake for 15 minutes.
