Im making a tart for a birthday

I want to do it in the shape of the age

I have made tin foil molds which might be ok

but then I found a tin that would suit the zero

is it worth trying to shape the other number in a different tin - with foil/baking paper

or am I going about it the wrong way?

as you can see from my namechange I dont do a lot of baking Grin

What is the age, and what is in the tart?

I would think it might be easier to do it flat with just the pastry shaped (like a big cut-out biscuit) with the topping just on on top, like a gallette... But would only work if the topping wasn't the kind of thing that needs edges to hold it in.

Or simpler, do a big round tart, and put the number in pastry on top of the filling.

Agree with Himalaya that it would depend on the type of tart/filling you are thinking of doing as to what kind of 'structure' you'd need for the pastry.
