Baking empty pastry cases in a bog standard bun tin

Hello
Quick and dim question please. Am about to bake some empty shortcrust pastry cases in regular 12 bun type tins and realised I don't know what to do! Do I need to add baking paper and the beans as for blind baking a big quiche?
Thanks!

If you've greased your tins you shouldn't need any baking paper, though you could use bun cases, but they leave an imprint of their ridges IYKWIM, nice I think, but maybe not what you are looking for?

I'm not sure about baking beans on top maybe you can get away with just pricking the pastry with a fork?

HMM now I'm not sure I should have answered at all am a bit out of my depth sorry. You've probably made them by now haven't you?Blush Confused
