Anyone know where I can buy icecream mixes?

Either supermarket or online?

DD got a McFlurry Maker for her birthday ( charity shop purchase from MIL).

Unfortunately they no longer produce the McFlurry Mixes to use with it, but have suggested icecream mixes should work as an alternative.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so dd can use her present.

TIA Smile

Not quite sure what you mean but I made cake batter ice cream once (after having one at coldstone creamery in nyc)

Mixed a pack of cheap cake batter (sainsburys basics) into vanilla ice cream, add in sprinkles and brownie pieces and let freeze.

Serve with chocolate sauce or icing. Grin

that'd work, I think it's more the churning up her own ice cream she's interested in than actually making it. Thanks ednurse, I'll pick up a cheapy cake mix & some sprinkles in town with her through the week

BTW, it was the company who suggested icecream mixes, when I emailed to ask for a suggestion as to what to use with it since the McFlurry Mixes are discontinued

I'm pretty sure I've seen these in Lakeland

Not a mix as such,
if you have a home brew shop, they have non alcoholic "liqueurs", which you can add to ice cream.

Brandy flavour, vanilla that sort of thing.

use sparingly like extracts: www.stillspirits.com/wa.asp?idWebPage=6255&idDetails=112
