Food for ds at nursery

Ds starts a new nursery tomorrow but I need to provide all food bar snacks. So lunch and tea. They have microwave to heat food but I am stuck for what to give for a hot meal. He doesn't like soup. Any suggestions? Happy with sandwich tea but need hot lunch ideas.

I do a few different hot lunches for my dd. mainly pasta so macaroni cheese, spag bol etc. I bulk cook them and freeze them in those IKEA bowls. I give her baked beans, fried rice and noodles too.
