Can i cook this chicken tomorrow ? WWYD ?

Ok i took lge chicken out of freezer last night about 9pm.
Kept it in fridge to defrost and just gone to pop into oven (5pm ), so about 20 hrs later and its not thawed.
Can i leave it overnight agsin and cookit tomorrow ?
Sorry to sound dumb but dont want to poison everyone by leaving chicken too long x

Bought it fresh so bb date prob about 3 days-put in freezer about a month ago ?
Maybe i should leave it out on the side and cook it tonight and we can have it cold or make massive curry tomorrow ?

i did the same thing with a pork joint this weekend.

i would say once defrosted use within 24 hours, but i aint defrosted yet is it sho should be fine!

Yeah that'll be fine to eat tomorrow. I've frozen something with a few days left and not eaten it straight after defrosting but have the day after.

I cooked chicken fillets 4 DAYS out of date on monday... in fact I cooked 2 and froze the remaining 4...

I was nervous though... eyeing my unsuspecting family across the table as I lead them to potencial death...
