'Ethnic' food shops in Bristol

Despite having lived in Bristol all my life I am ashamed to say I have only just discovered the Sweet Mart.

Having got loads of stuff there last weekend I am interested to discover other food shops that sell stuff that you can't get in your local supermarket.

So have you got any suggestions?

Masala Zone on Stapleton Road is waaay cheaper than Sweetmart and sells pretty much the same stuff plus catering equipment etc. Sweetmart relies on folks coming down from Clifton and Bishopston etc cooing about "the ethnic diversity, man" [bgrin]

Yeah I'm not in Clifton/Bishopston or anywhere as remotely trendy as that!

Thanks for the tip though!

Vietnamese supermarket by Glos Road and Muller Road junction is good. Chilli sauce and oyster sauce etc. is waaay cheaper.
