how to keep chicken nuggets crunchy

When I make homemade chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs they are really crisp when they have been shallow fried. I would like to be able to put the leftovers in lunchboxes the next day but they always go soft even in airtight container- so is there a way of keeping them crunchy?

make sure theyare totally cooled before putting them in an airtight box, as the steam/warmth makes them go soggy.
