Hi everyone! My name is Janet, and I have two children in their teens. My oldest has a bad nut allergy that we have struggled with all his life. I just thought I would let everyone know that someone has brought out an iphone app called 'foodwiz' that has really helped us. You use it to scan barcodes on labels and once you have told it what you are allergic to, it will tell you whether or not you can have the product. The website is www.foodwiz.co (not .co.uk) if anyone else wants to check it out! Hope it helps!

Don't they put nut disclaimers on virtually everything these days though? Tesco puts them on their Lemonade and sausages Hmm

Who decides whether the food is nut free? You can't rely on manufacturers.
