Seville oranges after marmalade what's next?

Made my marmalade, enough to last a good few months, but what next?
Every book, article I come across says how great and seasonal they are and not just for marmalade, then give a re ipe for marmalade and that's it.
What else can I do with them, and my freezer is full.

Haven't got a definitive answer really, zanz1bar, but I spotted this recipe yesterday and rather fancied the sound of it......

....however, it might not make much of a dent in the Seville mountain Grin

yes seville orange tart

or seville orange curd

Freeze some if you want to make more marmalade in the summer, or indeed use for anything else

love seeing your nn, btw, had such a wonderful holiday there. unforgettable.

I have 3 Seville oranges left and I have found a recipe for Seville Orange Ice Cream which I am going to try at lunctime today, for daughter's birthday supper tonight. Just Icing Sugar, Seville oranges and double cream, so not slimming then!

Make a sephardic orange cake, or the ice cream mentioned above.

I made the iced cream at lunchtime. It is in the freezer now, but I had to lick the bowl and beaters before washing up and it tasted fantastic.

1 Pint Double Cream, 175gm Icing Sugar, zest of 2 Seville Oranges and the juice from 3.
Dissolve sugar in the juice and zest, add cream and then whisk/whip until almost stiff. Freeze for 3 - 5 hours. Take out of the freezer to ripen about 20 minutes before serving (apparently). It is a Nigella recipe.

Ice cream sounds fantastic.

I have never been to Zanzibar, but have a family connection, one day, one day I will go.

when I was little I always wanted to call my daughter Zanzibar... I didn't though!

Someone on another marmalade thread mentioned an orange meringue pie that I liked the sound of, but she didn't divulge the recipe. I'm thinking perhaps a sorbet.

Have a Seville orange chutney recipe I want to try this year. Will dig it out if you want it.
Ice cream sounds wonderful, definitely making that, thank you :)

Ice Cream WAS wonderful, but very rich. Would be best served to accompany something like Apple Crumble or Apple Pie.
