Bought this at the weekend thinking I could make it today and then it would last me and DS2 for lunch for a couple of days. Its 500g of chopped veg and you just add stock and simmer for 20 mins. However it very clearly states "Do not re-heat" Sure I could chill it and reheat on gas or microwave tomorrow? The only other ingredient is sodium metabisulphite. Has anyone else done this and survived?!? Thanks

I never understand the statement "never reheat" really its probably down to avoid litigation if it wasnt cooked properly in the first place and the purchaser keeled over. I reheat everything and our parents used do do it without the microwaves.

Cant see why you cant. Probably down the fact if you chuck out then you buy more - not in this house we eat everything as long as its not got mould or smells dodgy!

Take no heed.
